Jamf is the only company in the world that provides a complete management and security solution for an Apple-first environment that is enterprise secure, consumer simple and protects personal privacy. Updates are regular, issues/problems are fixed quickly and support is always there to help when you need. We started in 2012 and its been a great experience for the most part. Years back, I'm told that they tried JAMF(Casper) and experienced a great deal of trouble with it before they ditched it in favor of basically nothing. Jamf's purpose is to simplify work by helping organizations manage and secure an Apple experience that end users love and organizations trust. Jamf is the industry leader for a reason theyve been around since 2003 and have a long history of supporting Macs in the enterprise. I do not recommend using Jamf Remote as Jamf has added features (in Jamf Pro Dashboard) under Jamf System Settings -> Global Management -> Remote Administration - for 3rd Parties (& Hopefully a new App from Jamf to replace Remote.) BECAUSE Jamf is removing Jamf Remote from its suite. I work for a non-profit that is mainly a Windows organization. Using Screen Sharing via Finder or using the Apple Remote Desktop application presents this issue. ![]()
